Monday, July 29th, 2019

ROME, N.Y.- Since 1992, Drums Along the Mohawk has supported young musicians as they make their dreams come true of marching in Drum Corps International (DCI) with the Drums Along the Mohawk Tour Award. The Tour Award is a grant sponsored by the John Winter Family Fund, Drums Along the Mohawk, and the Friends of Music for Kids, Inc. It is given to New York State students who are currently marching in a DCI corps to help pay for their corps' tuition and membership fees.

The 41st annual Drums Along the Mohawk will take place at Rome Free Academy Stadium on Turin Street on Thursday, August 1, at 7:00 pm where the winners of the Tour Award will be honored.

This year, Drums Along the Mohawk honors six of New York's finest talents in DCI.
