NYS DCI Members Honored with Tour Grant
Friday, August 4th, 2017
Since 1992, Drums Along the Mohawk has supported young musicians as they make their dreams come true of marching in Drum Corps International (DCI) with the Drums Along the Mohawk Tour Award. The Tour Award is a grant sponsored by the John Winter Family fund that is given to New York State students who are currently marching in a DCI corps to help pay for their corps' tuition and membership fees. The 39th annual Drums Along the Mohawk will take place at Rome Free Academy Stadium on Turin Street on Sunday, August 6, at 6:30 p.m.
This year, Drums Along the Mohawk honors four of New York's finest talents with the 2017 Tour Award. Their essays are available on www.drumsalongthemohawk.com. Read why they march!
